trips/museums/notes

I am cleaning out my room, getting ready to pack everything up and move home, and I found the stash of museum brochures, maps, etc that I collected this year on my trips because I wanted to research further and write about the art that I saw there. Obviously, I haven't gotten around to that yet, but I wanted to make note of these artists/places/pieces so that I could throw away the physical paper and have the information to work on this later. Thus, I am utilizing the blog as a storage facility and maybe a little bit as a teaser for the things I hope to write about this fall with my new free time and access to the UT library system.

It is funny to me how hard it is to read my own handwriting, especially as I am somewhat furtively scribbling on backs of brochures or in my travel journals as I explore an exhibit. Hopefully most of these names/words are actually what I have twice transcribed them to be. Also, I guess some of these things aren't really art but are other interesting things that I liked aesthetically and wanted to make note of and learn more about.
